Commonly seen on Harrier GR7’s in combat operations for Operation Telic and the Afghanistan conflict and peacetime Sepecat Jaguar GR3’s. The DJRP pod served to provide the then current aviation arm with reconnaissance and targeting capabilities. Gripen’s are currently using the pods too later. This set provides two parts…enough to assemble and make one assembly of the DJRP pod in 1/32nd scale for mounting on the Trumpeter GR7 harrier kit. This is a 3D printed part modeled in CAD using many pictorial references and is the most accurate replica on the market currently available. This set accurately depicts details in recessed panel lines and embossed features. Front camera housing cam be glued in any rotational position for in flight display or stored with lens up in a protected position. 32nd scale set includes a separate clear polystyrene film with template tacked on to guide cutting out with scissors. Once cut out…peel off template and you are left with a clear lens to glue in place within the rotating front section on this pod. There is a ledge on the inside to which this clear piece can be adhered in place with Future or clear PVA glue. Part removal only requires a hobby knife and part clean up is almost not necessary due to design layout. Attach parts to kit fuselage centerline pylon by either gluing directly with CA glue or drilling and pinning item to rack. Dust mask and eyewear protection is a must to protect your health during processing of part. Work outdoors if possible during processing. Shipping available to CONUS, Canada and United Kingdom only.
