Up for sale is a beautiful Masi GRAN CRITERIUM built in 1976. Serial# E56 This is an especially rare example as it was one of the last Masi Gran Criteriums built by Masi in the original Vigorelli velodrome workshop, Milan Italy. It is a great classic italian bike from the middle 70's, Equipped with: Campagnolo Super Record groupset, handmade with Columbus SL tubes, size 54 seat tube x 54,5 top tube (center/center) original chromium plating in very good condition. Campagnolo Super Record groupset in very nice condition, new clinchers and inner tubes, new housing and wires, cinelli bar tape, new campy bar ends, campy Athena pedals, specialized armadillo elite tires, cinelli volare slx seat,no defects, ready to ride. Weight 9,7 kgs. Front tube 13,5 cm. Standover measure 79 cm. Frame: Columbus SL steel Groupset and components: – Campagnolo Super Record rear derailleur – Campagnolo Super Record front derailleur – Campagnolo Super Record shifters – Campagnolo Record bottom bracket (italian thread) 36x24t – Campagnolo Super Record crankset engraved Masi,(170 mm arms, 52/42 teeth) – Campagnolo Super Record brake levers – Campagnolo Super Record brake calipers – 3T stem engraved Masi, lenght 11 cm c/c – 3t Masi handlebar – Campagnolo Super Record headset – Campagnolo Record hubs 32 holes – Nisi HR22 rims 32 holes for clinchers – Specialized armadillo tires with lots of Life left(700×20) – Campagnolo Nuovo Record seatpost engraved Masi – Cinelli volare slx saddle – Caimi Everest 6 gears freewheel – KMC chain -Campagnolo bar ends – campagnolo Athena pedals This bike was purchased back in 2021 from steel vintage bikes in Italy. It came in pieces and I had it put together by a local bike shop here in Pittsburgh . They also fitted the bike with new tires and the cinelli saddle. The bike still wasn’t shifting perfectly so at that point I took it to “ wheelfine imports” in New Jersey (look them up on Google maps and you’ll see my review and pictures)and had it looked over and set up again by Mike, the vintage bike wizard, and it was like a totally different bike after that. This thing really rides and shifts beautifully now. It is an absolute joy to ride and I will miss seeing it go but hopefully to someone who really appreciates it! This thing rides as good as it looks! Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or come and test ride it for yourself! I have over 4000$ into this bike so please do take the list price seriously as it is more than fair. Unfortunately, I do not ride this bike as much as I’d like to see it go to someone who will really appreciate it. Since the bike is set up so well it would be best for the buyer to pick it up. I am willing to have it professional packed and shipped if shipping is necessary.
