Penn Antique Restoration 32″x83″ Antique Solid Wood Door w/5 Horizontal Panels * Please note that the 32″x83″ in the title is just an estimate. The door is not exactly that size. Please see “Dimensions” below. Elegant, antique interior door salvaged from an old, home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir or Cypress and has 5 recessed (flat) panels on both sides. The door is painted white on both sides. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store). * If you would like the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote. Uneven Size: Both the width and height of the door were unevenly cut by 3/8″. The cuts were most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the door to an even 31 1/2 x 83 1/8 x 1 3/8, or cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to be wider/taller–email us for a quote. Condition: Considering the door is well over 100 years old, it is strong, sturdy and in great condition. It only has nicks and scratches, and 2 thin/small breaks along the out edges of the door (see last photo). However, there is no rot, warp, broken or cracked joints or panels, or any other serious issues.Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, “character marks” Strip/Refinish: We could strip/refinish, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. We have MANY photos of doors that we’ve restored that could give you an idea of how this door could clean up. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we’ll give you a quote. Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room towards the right, or away from the room towards the left. We could change the swing–email us for a quote. Modification: Do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Email us with a small description of what you would like done, and we’ll give you a quote. Dimensions: 31 1/2″ – 31 7/8″ x 83 1/8″ – 83 1/2″ x 1 3/8″ Shipping: Northeastern VA, MD, DC, DE, PA, NJ, NY, & New England: We deliver to these states every 2 – 3 weeks.
