8 eggs from our pen of Blue/Black/Splash Laced Red Wyandottes.No Extras. These eggs will ship from Upstate New York, so please check the weather for your delivery route. We have been raising this variety/breed for 18 years.We started with the coveted Foley line, and added others after he sold his BLRW flock. Our most recent addition is the Griffis line. But please understand that our birds are still a conglomerate of our old lines mixed with some new lines,and know that these are not stellar quality show birds in any way.They are pet quality from the best quality lines we could afford at the time we purchased.Please know that these chicks will hatch out blue/black/splash laced; most of our BLRW are Splash versions.The birds you hatch from our eggs might not match any of the photos in this listing. We have 3 BLRW Roosters to every 10 BLRW hens. The pictures in this listing are of our parent birds and 2023 chicks.I do not guarantee the colour of the chicks that will hatch from these eggs.I also do not guarantee lacing quality. It might be full or partial or spangled or absent.Chicken genetics is very complicated and always throwing curve balls.Your hatch results of the eggs you receive from me might not match these listing photos at all.Please be ready for an unexpected result. Some redundancy:Please know that development and hatch rates can never be guaranteed with shipped eggs. The trip from the post office to you is rough for eggs in many ways that can change from each shipment, and you can get anywhere from zero to 50% hatch. The internet says the average hatch for shipped non-bantam eggs is about 30%… That means 3 chicks out of 10 shipped eggs is a GOOD result. But ZERO is still normal, and if you bid or buy it means you accept that fact and risk. I hatched shipped eggs for 5 years while building my breeding stock. Ironic little-known fact: I am rubbish at hatching shipped eggs. I typically get between ZERO and 3 chicks per dozen shipped eggs. (mostly zero.) If you are new to hatching shipped eggs, please google or you-tube it. It is more involved than hatching your own freshly laid eggs that have not been tossed around the mail room, and jostled in a truck for hundreds of miles, and left overnight with no heating or cooling for several days, and possibly x-rayed. I highly recommend the article by the Alabama Poultry Association, on hatching shipped eggs; it is available on the internet and social media. If you need your eggs held at your post office for you to pick up, please include that in the message when you pay. We only ship to the lower 48 U.S. States only; no Hawaii, no Alaska. We will always pack your eggs very carefully. Eggs are shipped via insured Priority Mail. If your package arrives damaged, you can easily file a claim yourselfwith your local USPS or on the official USPS government website, and they will reimburse you directly. There are no returns or refunds or replacements on eggs. Your eggs are INSURED by USPS not to arrive damaged.If your eggs arrive cracked or broken, all you need to do is file a claim directly with USPS, and they will issue you a refund.Please do not purchase my eggs unless you understand the egg shipping risks, the USPS claims option, and the fact that we do not replace or refund.And, eggs are not ever guaranteed to hatch.
