You are bidding on (1) Diode Kit for the Dynaco Stereo 70 Tube Amplifiers; this kit replaces the original outdated selenium rectifier with a modern diode. Also includes (2) NEW axial lead bias supply capacitors, we supply 100uF X 100V value which is what we use in all our restorations (replaces Dynaco part number 284506). We consider these kits NOS (the caps we include are new however) as they came from the SV / SCC inventory which dates back to the 1980’s. These are not Dynaco brand “kits”, rather they are aftermarket kits that were offered by SCC back in the 1980’s. These are a simple and inexpensive way to replace your old crusty selenium rectifier; included are a very basic instruction sheet, diode, terminal strip, and hardware. The diode kit parts are sealed in a small paper envelope with the instructions folded around it. The bias supply caps will be packaged in a small plastic bag. We also sell just the diode kit without the bias supply caps, please see our store. (D544042R) Vintage Electron Inc. possesses the largest inventory of NOS Dynaco parts available anywhere in the world, having purchased both the remaining warehouse inventory of the old Sound Values/Stereo Cost Cutters Inc. (SV/SCC) operation as well as the remaining inventory of the old Dynaco National Service Center. SV/SCC was the company that purchased nearly 250,000 pounds of Dynaco parts when Dynaco closed it’s doors back in 1979; they also purchased the existing Hafler inventory from the Rockford Fosgate Corporation back in the early 1990‘s. Quantities of some parts (both Dynaco and Hafler) are very limited as can be expected. Vintage Electron Inc. has no affiliation with the old SV/SCC company and we do not provide repair services at this time for any of the Sound Valves brand products.
