For sale is a nice cup and saucer made by one of the Paris makers around 1800. The saucer has a two little landscape scene to it, a little gold medallion in the center and a gold trim around the edge of the well and rim. The cup has a superbly hand painted scene all around including two people with a building by some water in a nice landscape surrounding with gold trim to the bottom edge, the handle and the top rim, and the entire inside wall as shown. The scenes are of a good quality and it being all around makes it a very decorative piece! The set is in superb condition with a tiny bit of wear to the gilding mainly to the top edge of the cup but about as nice as one could hope for! The set is unmarked which is common for Paris makers around that time. The cup is 2.125 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.625 inches in diameter.
