Offered is a Rare Find… Two Bauer Pottery Figural Rooster Lid Casseroles. Included is the 1.5 Quart & 2 Quart, both including the original Coppertone Rooster Design Cradles…Very Hard To Find. Color is green on both, I believe these were produced sometime in the 1950’s – 1960…A beautiful addition to any collection!Both casseroles are signed “Bauer”, they are in beautiful, clean condition, showing little, to no use, very well cared for. There are no chips, cracks, or stains, and include the original Rooster design copper tone cradles..Only mentions are, there is some crazing on the lid of the 1.5 Quart, hard to show in photos, it is only around the outer edge of the lid. There are a few light glaze imperfections done in production, and the cradles are slightly different shades of copper…Please see photos, I tried to show. The cradles are both in good condition, showing light, to normal signs of age. The 2 Qt measures 9″ diameter x 5.5″ tall x , overall w/lid, and handle, 6.5″ tall while sitting in the cradle…The inside dimensions are 7.75 x 3.5″. The 1.5 Qt measures 7.5″ diameter x 4.5″ tall x , overall w/lid, and handle, 5.5″ tall 12″ wide (w/handles) while sitting in the cradle…The inside dimensions are 6.5 x 2.5″. Please see photos, this is the actual Casseroles w/Lids, and Cradles you will receive.
