The item offered here is a classic Canon AE-1 35mm SLR camera with a super sharp FD 50mm f/1.4 S.S.C. lens plus a Canon 155A Speedlite flash unit in excellent operational, performing and cosmetic condition. Introduced in 1976 this camera features an electronically-controlled shutter plus full-aperture, shutter priority auto TTL exposure. The camera also features shutter speeds of 2 seconds to 1/1000 of a second. The CdS light meter reads the light directly through-the-lens. Our in-house camera technician serviced this top quality camera & lens: complete cleaning, new light seals & mirror pads, fully tested. The camera requires a PX-28 6v or equivalent battery for operation (included). The camera light meter reads correctly and all other camera functions are in vert good operational condition. The viewfinder is clean showing no dirt or dust markings at all. The camera body metal and leatherette finishes are very clean showing no dings or dents and only minor wear/age markings. The lens optics are pristine showing only minor dust but no dirt or fungus damage at all. The lens mount & filter ring are also in pristine condition. The 155A Speedlite recycles quickly and provides great illumination for perfectly exposed images.
