This Marlin Model 60 buffer is manufactured in the United States for use on newer Model 60’s produced after 1981 with a pin diameter of 0.155″ We have engineered a small changed into the design to allow for quick replacement. A small notch in the bottom allows for replacement without disassembling your fire control group. Simply remove the fire control group from the receiver and remove any pieces from the old buffer, and slip the new buffer on over the pin. These buffers are 3D printed with Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU), a very impact resistant and flexible media which will give better performance than the factory originals. Unlike many 3D printed buffers available on the market, these are manufactured with 100% infill, which means there are no air pockets hidden inside the material. Please be sure to order the correct buffer for your firearm. The New Model EZ Swap buffer is compatible with the following models produced after 1981: 60, 60W, 990, 99C, 70PSS, 60SS, 7000, and 795SSPlease note: some models produced during 1981 may also have the .155 pin. Please consult the following serial numbers to determine if this buffer is the correct fit. 1960-1968 will not have a serial number, and this buffer will not be the correct fit.1968-1973 will designate the first two numbers of the serial as the date of manufacture.1973-1999 subtract the first two numbers from 2000 to determine the date of manufacture.2000 starts with 002001-2010 subtract the first two numbers from 21002010 and later will have MM stamped Remember: for all rifles produced prior to 1981, a buffer with a pin size of 0.125″ will provide the best fit. The new model buffer will fit but may have slightly more play on the pin. Caustic cleaning chemicals such as Acetone and Gun Scrubber(Rebranded brake cleaner) should not be used to clean rifles that contain TPU buffers. While damage may not be immediately evident, these chemicals can cause degradation of the plastics used for production of this and many other parts. TPU does provide good resistance to Kerosene, the main ingredient in Hoppes #9. These are all new production from our shop in Tennessee. All manufacturing work is done in house, so what you get will be the labor of our own workers right here in the USA.
