eBay Vintage Hall China Aladdin Genie Cobalt Blue Teapot For consideration is this vintage cobalt blue teapot made by Hall China in their “Aladdin” design – or “magic genie lamp” shape. Hall China manufactured the Aladdin style teapot from 1939 until 1963. This teapot features an embossed drape pattern. If this originally came with an infuser, there is no infuser and there is no gold accenting. The teapot measures 6½ inches tall at the lid, 6 inches tall at the height of the handle, the mouth measures 3 inches in diameter, 10¾ inches from spout to hand and the oval base measures 3¾ inches long by 2½ inches wide. I have a similar teapot (the black Aladdin lamp by Hall) and it is marked “6 cups” on the base so I assume this teapot holds the same. The base is stamped “Hall” and “Made In U.S.A.”. This mark was used extensively from the early 1930s until the 1970s. There is a dimple to the body on the right side about 2 inches from the spout (see photos), and the paint is lightly rubbed around the spout. The teapot is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, discoloration or crazing noted. Buyer will pay shipping on a 3 pound box. Thank you for looking!
