Here is a perfect reproduction blank front panel for the Heathkit Model SB-220 or SB-221 2KW Linear Amplifier Units. These panels are leftovers from when I was offering exact reproduction painted and silk-screened front panels for the SB-220. I had sold over 100 of these panels, and every customer was thrilled with the detail and the accuracy of the reproduction. As you can see in the photos, these blank panels are unpainted, and are not silk-screened. As such, you can paint them in any color you wish, and silk-screen them in any style or font you desire for your SB-220 or SB-221. This 0.090″-thick aircraft-grade aluminum reproduction panel was made using the front panel from an original Model SB-220 as a pattern. The original panel was scanned on an industrial 3-dimensional laser scanner, and then laser-cut by a precision machine shop to an accuracy of +/- 0.001″. The fabricated panel was then vibration sanded for a smooth ready-for-paint finish. The four (4) corner mounting holes to the amplifier chassis are countersunk exactly the way the original SB-220/SB-221 panels were done by Heath. It is a dimensionally-exact and perfect reproduction of the original Heathkit front panel in every way. Note that the original painted and screened SB-220 front panel is shown for reference purposes only, and it is not included as part of this sale.
