eBay LIGHTNING FORCE PERFORMANCE lightningforceperformance.*** MAKE US AN OFFER Innovators West Balancer 811/963 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra Interchange PN MIW0015 Manufactured in the USA by Innovators West, this SFI 18.1-spec balancer is the premier balancer in motorsports. This balancer uses an all-aluminum case for lower reciprocating weight, a stress-proof steel hub and 1040 steel internal inertia rings for outstanding durability. Inside the light weight billet aluminum cover is a free-floating wet-friction clutch pack assembly that utilizes spring loaded inertia rings to dampen crankshaft harmonics over a wide RPM range. The rings work in conjunction with clutches to provide outstanding dampening action. The small amount of heat generated by this dampening action is cooled by the fluid inside that also serves as a lubricant. This is a serious piece for cars making serious power, and yet it installs without modifications to the vehicle. This balancer incorporates the 6-bolt flange used to mount our Lightning Force Performance or a metco crank pulley rings, so no crank pulley hub is required. Crank pulley rings can be mounted directly to the face of the balancer, and once installed will be in perfect alignment with your supercharger pulley. The installation of this balancer requires removal of the OEM ‘caged’ assembly, which means an alternate mount for the idler pulley located to the driver’s side of the balancer will be necessary. Note: The Super Duty hub option includes an upgraded balancer hub, made with a larger OD and from a higher grade of steel to resist cracking in severe applications. A larger front cover seal is necessary, and is provided. Using the combination of INNOVATORS WEST 811 8 Rib Balancer along with 963 LFP or metco adapter, 03-04 Cobra owners now have an SFI approved option to the stock Balancer. Our adapter is designed to adapt the Lightning Force Performance or metco interchangeable crank pulley rings to our SFI approved Balancer.
