CONDITION: New in original retail package, with a collectible gift tin and a Leatherman Micra tool. There may be slight shop wear on the plastic packaging. This one has silver handles: it’s the only Juice made in that color. MODEL DESCRIPTION: The Leatherman Juice SC2 tool had a limited production run, and was retired soon after its introduction in the mid-Aughties. There is no mention of it on the Leatherman website, and we couldn’t even find specs for the SC2 until we had one in our hands. It was sold exclusively at Costco, then remaining stock went out unofficially to a few distributors without it ever becoming an official Leatherman model. The Juice SC2 is built from 100% stainless steel, housed in a light but tough anodized aluminum frame. It contains a large set of pliers (combination needle-nose, regular pliers and wire cutters), plus eight supplementary tools folded into the pliers arms. When you are finished using the Leatherman Juice SC2, it folds up into a compact, ergonomic shape that fits easily into your pocket, tool belt or backpack. This is a great collectible, or a handy tool to use daily if you like this specific combination of implements. It is like a Juice C2 plus scissors, a Juice S2 plus corkscrew, or a Juice CS4 minus the wood saw. Unlike most other Juice models, the SC2 is “unbalanced”, with one arm that is thicker than the other. Juice SC2 tools are medium-sized Leatherman tools (3 1/4″ / 84mm) in a colorful anodized shell, with a weight of 128.4 grams (4.5 oz).
