Linhof Standard Precision Camera 9×12 (3 1/4 x 4 1/4) Early model,very low serial number 6601 dates it to 1930 -32.Similar to the original Technika but without rear movements. It does not have the usual Linhof logo on the lens board, just a small nameplate on the front of the lens board, see the last photo. It is set up as a press camera. On the top is a Graflex direct vision finder that tilts and corrects for parallax. In addition, the levels are mounted on top. It has a coupled Kalart rangefinder and a Heiland flash mount. The lens board has a mechanical flash sync.Included is the Heiland flash unit minus the reflector. This Linhof Standard features a revolving back and it is fitted with a Graflex back, ground glass and hood. The ground glass has a small scratch. The bed is a triple extension type and allows the bed to be dropped for use with wide angle lenses. The rangefinder works is clear, the coupling to the focus rail needs work. The rangefinder wmay need to be adjusted for the lens. The front rise, shift and tilt back all work. The 13.5 cm Zeiss Tessar lens is in good condition with only a slight haze between the two front elements. The serial number dates it from 1937. The Compur shutter works on all settings. 1/2 sec and 1sec are slow. The other speeds seems correct. They have not been tested and the shutter has not been recently serviced. The camera has infinity stops for various lenses drilled into the focus rail. The lens on the camera does not have a infinity stop hole, although the position is marked with a scribe. The leather on the body is intact. There some areas of paint loss. The original hand strap in intact and in surprisingly good condition after almost a century. Includes camera, a Graflex sheet film holder magazine, and a chrome Heiland bulb flash unit without the reflector. This is an excellent camera for a Linhof collector or user.
