SMC PENTAX-DAL 50-200MM F/4-5.6 ED LENS This lightly used Pentax lens is in excellent working condition. The glass is clear, fungus and haze free. The diaphragm blades are clean and “snappy”. Factory front and rear lens caps are included. I initially bought the lens for indoor volleyball tournament shooting because it was lighter weight (9 oz) and faster focusing than other lenses in my kit. It served me well for that kind of shooting, but as I’m not spending long, tiring days at volleyball tournaments, I no longer need the lens. The ED glass delivered sharpness that allowed 16×20 and 20×24 enlargements. As with many Pentax DAL lenses, even when being used in an Auto-Focus mode, this lens features “Quick Shift, it can instantly be manually focused without having to change the selector switch on the camera.Designed for exclusive use with PENTAX KAF-mount digital SLR cameras, while the lens is Pentax K-Mount, it WILL NOT function on Pentax 35mm film cameras as it has no aperture setting ring, it can ONLY be used on bodies that allow setting the f-stop with camera body control (I believe all Pentax DSLR’s have that capability, and it is designed for AP-C NOT full-frame format cameras. Please make sure this item is compatible with your equipment before bidding. I cannot be responsible for bad homework on your part!
