This beautiful, limited-edition lithograph by Amram Ebgi is hand-signed and numbered. The print features some complex touches, including six dove-like birds (three printed and three in blind intaglio), as well as intaglio or embossed, golden-colored foil covering the door and the dome. In the foreground, in front of the door, is an area of street cobblestones presented using intaglio and/or embossing. This print is under glass and nicely framed in a lovely, wood frame with a simulated wood-grain finish. It is double-matted with an outer beige and an inner brown accent matt — both of which beautifully complement this work. The size in the frame is 20 1/4″ wide by 25 3/4″ high. The visible area of the print measures 12″ wide by 17 1/2″ high. Note that the print’s numbering has been penciled onto the lower left corner of the front (“890/CML”), with the letters “CML” representing the edition size, 950, in Roman numerals. The artist signed this print in pencil in the lower right corner. The frame has three minor blemishes that don’t detract from the beauty of this limited edition work — see photos for details.
