Vintage Bauer Pottery Chop Plate Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Bauer California pottery ringware chop plate or charger. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This plate has a jade green glaze. It is about 1 1/8 inches tall, with a diameter of approximately 12 9/16 inches. Unpacked, this piece weighs 3 pounds 2.6 ounces. It would be a nice addition to a collection of vintage California pottery dinnerware. Identification This unmarked piece is vintage (circa 1930s) Bauer pottery from Los Angeles. Condition The plate has no chips or cracks. There is wear from use, with some scuffs/scratches and metal knife marks which I have not tried to remove. The base has some wear scratches. As made, there are tripod stilt marks beneath. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying. Terms of Sale 1. Payments Taxes may be applicable.
