BAUME & MERCIER Geneve Chronograph 17 Jewels This prestigious Baume & Mercier Genève chronograph wristwatch, dating back to the 1950s, is an example of fine Swiss watchmaking. It features a manual-wind Baume & Mercier mechanical movement with a chronograph complication that measures up to 30 minutes, a central chronograph seconds hand, and 17 jewels. The watch is antimagnetic and Swiss-made. Cased in 39mm round case with lug design and smooth chronograph pushers, all in nickel-plated brass. It has the original two-tone champagne dial showcases gold Arabic numerals, a detailed minute/second track, and matching gold hands. The sub-second dial is placed at 6 o’clock, while the 30-minute chronograph counter sits at 3 o’clock. The dial is signed with “Baume & Mercier Genève” at the top, and “Antimagnetic” and “17 Jewels” at the bottom. It is complemented by a brand-new black genuine leather strap (Cuero Legitimo), made in Argentina. This watch is still a very attractive looking wristwatch, runs very well and keep great time!
